Eden Farmstay at Cygnet in Tasmania's South is more than just self-contained family accommodation. The farm stay has been set up with families in mind, spacious and comfortable. We have three and four bedroom self-contained accommodation; Eden and the Farmhouse, with comfortable beds and electric blankets, a range of books, toys, games and DVDs. In front of the farm stay you'll find a shared, enclosed garden area with playground, bunnies and barbecue. Kites are available, fossils to be found, and Dad hasn't been forgotten with great fishing spots close by and fishing rods are available. Set on a 40-acre farm, 45-minute drive from Hobart and ten-minute drive from local beaches, it's the perfect place for a rural vacation. There's a range of farm animals including cows, alpacas, goats, pigs, sheep and chickens. Join your hosts in the late afternoons on their rounds to feed all the animals, most of them will eat out of your hand, even the big cows cannot resist a juicy apple, a great experience for young and old. You'll be within driving distance of several attractions including Tahune Airwalk, Bruny Island, Hastings Cave, Ida Bay Railway, Huon Jet Boat, local wineries and art galleries. ...
