Port Douglas is a beautiful sleepy coastal town that is spotlessly clean, tropical, and well-positioned to visit the reef and other attractions in the area. We could have stayed a week just kicking back and relaxing in this beautiful town, enjoying many cafes, bars, and pubs. I'd highly recommend visiting this beautiful part of Queensland.

A quaint and picturesque town, with an abundance of live music, good restaurants and coffee shops. The walk over Flagstaff Hill is tough in places but well worth the effort. Plenty to do, or just as easily relax.

The seafood restuarants are magnificent. Excellent food at very affordable prices. This place is alike a miniature Noosa or a micro Gold Coast without all the hype and commerciality. A great place to bring a family - relax as well as a have a great time with lots to see and do. Don't miss the Sunday morning markets in the park - very worth a visit with local and aboriginal artists selling their orginal work (nothing made in China here).
