From Beaches to Business, Sydney Has it All

From the glitz and glamour of the Star City Casino and trendy King Street Wharf in Darling Harbor to the waves of the Northern beaches, Sydney is full of great restaurants, bars and shopping.

Sail under the iconic Harbor Bridge on a ferry and take in a world class performance at the Sydney Opera House. Circular Quay is also home to the exquisite waterside Botanical Gardens and the Museum of Contemporary Art. The Sydney Tower is the highest point on the skyline and offers a restaurant with panoramic views.

Whether it's the quirky King Street in Newtown or the elegance of the Woollahra, travelling outside of the center uncovers each suburb's distinct flavor. The famous Bondi Beach is the starting point of a walk along the cliffs to the equally photogenic beaches of Bronte and Coogee.

Sydney’s Kingsford Smith International Airport is the main gateway to this capital city and only a short distance from the city center. From a dorm bed in King’s Cross to a 5-star, serviced apartment in the central business district, Booking.com will ensure you don’t miss the excitement in this dynamic city down under.

I live in the Northern Beaches, only 45 mins from the CBD but I would quite happily come and stay in Sydney for the weekend than fly anywhere else in the world! So much to see and do, I've barely scratched the surface and I've lived here my whole life!!

Im not really a fan of Sydney - we go there for a reason: Theatre. We were there overnight to see a show, “& Juliet”, and the show was well worth it. We filled in the time before travel the next day with a visit to the Banksy Exhibition at the Town Hall and to the WW1 Memorial in Hyde Park. Lovely Art Deco building. We chose to eat in World Square - a nice all day restaurant called ‘Silk’ - good pasta.

Fantastic place to visit. Darling Harbour is such an exciting and vibrant port. So much to see and do. We had an unintended stop over after our flight was delayed. We were stranded for 3 days but it was a lovely to visit sites i had never been to. The War Memorial is a must to visit and the people of Sydney were so helpful too and very friendly. The transport system , especially the trains were very easy to use and if you don't start at the airport it is much cheaper as there is an instant charge of $17 per person from here. But so much cheaper than a taxi and timely. The Ramases Exhibition was fantastic but avoid the weekends as a Covid risk with so many people crowding around. We visited the Aquarium at Darling Harbour which was great value for money and good for exercise. We will return to Sydney one day for sure.
