Stay at the Birches Mudgee a Luxurious & Romantic Bed and Breakfast Getaway. Eat lunch at Market St Takeaway you have to try their Jamaican or American burger with chips or home made Lasagna food so good and tasty. And finish off dine in for dinner at the Paragon Hotel on Tbone steak night. And not to forget must take time out on Saturday Morning to Worship at the Mudgee Seventh-Day Adventist Church

Mudgee is a great area to visit. There is plenty to do and there are cafes, restaurants and pubs that all offer great coffee, food and drinks. The surrounding area is great to explore and the views are excellent.

You don't just end up in Mudgee. It is a planned trip. You have everything you need from food (sophisticated/ non sophisticated), drink, inside/ outside dinning, taxis, hospital, swimming pool, town/ country experiences, golf. I come alone most times a year and for the pure pleasure of not hearing sirens, planes, trains and automobiles. My wife loves the place also with its lovely homestyle cooking in the pubs and clubs, to the hole in the wall coffee cafes. I also come because I can ride my bike and jog wherever I want, when I want. I can simply go to a park and read and write. Mudgee is and always will be my spiritual home. My country. I recognise home.

Mudgee is a lovely country town with great food and wineries (we much prefer it to the Hunter Valley). It's worth staying for a long weekend. Highly recommend eating at the Pipe Clay Pump House restaurant - one of the best meals I've ever had!

Mudgee is such a beautiful town. So much to see and do, in and around Mudgee. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days but could have easily Stayed another night. The little towns around Mudgee are a must see too, especially if you love history.
