first time we have visited without our caravan and we missed it as not enough to do now that most places are closed, being in a caravan is better as can return to the van any time of day and relax under the awning and socialise but in a motel not easy. only the tavern wants your bussines for meals in the evening the hotel does not and no others exist what a big dissapointment after 15 years of visiting

We chose Denmark as we read pamphlets stating that it was a dog friendly town which lived up to it's reputation. Our little Poodle X was welcomed everywhere we went and was even offered treats and a bowl of water. Thank you Denmark

Shower water was tepid within hotel - Both morning and evenings. Town was lovely. River walk to Wilson's inlet very scenic. Park opposite hotel very pleasant. We were lucky enough to visit when classic car show and wooden boat shows were on for tge Sept long weekend - a real bonus. Local beaches beautiful and within short driving distances.

Lovely beaches close by and the treetop walk is a must. The town itself is very pleasant and you can do a good walk around the town and follow it up another day with a stroll along the river. There's also plenty of fishing options etc.

Denmark offers plenty of activities for all ages and adventurers. Beaches, hikes, wineries, fishing, natural wonders (monkey rock is a must) and more. You really need a week here. The availability of quality eating places is excellent.
