Come and enjoy a heritage railway ride from Healesville Station through the beautiful Yarra Valley to the 150 metre long brick tunnel on the Yarra Valley Railway. Bring your family on the 40 minute return trip. The kids will love the ride with a tunnel, stunning mountain views and possible kangaroos along the way. Before and after your trip you can relax in front of the fire with a cappuccino, while the kids enjoy themselves on the extensive children's adventure play ground at the front of the station. Group bookings involve a minimum cost and should be made in advance. One ride can cater for a maximum of 40 passengers. For groups with more than 40 passengers, two trips can be made. The new cafe, YV Refreshments, has the best coffee, lunches and desserts in Healesville. Special events include the Heritage Festival in September and the Ghost Train in October.
