Description

The journey from Bundaberg to Yeppoon, north east of Rockhampton, includes a number of different aspects of Queenslanders' war service, including commemorating war nurses at one of the Bundaberg Memorials, a visit to the museum of an early aviation hero and WWI veteran Bert Hinkler, a memorial which doubled as a union rallying point in the mining town of Mount Morgan and an avenue of trees representing those lost in WWI on the beachside at Yeppoon....
