| Farm house/Agriturismo | Toscana | | In the middle of Tuscany, amid hillside olive groves and chestnut woods, enjoy panoramic views of the magnificent Arno valley at the historic country farm Morniano, 20 km south of Florence (Hwy exit Incisa Valdarno). Built of stone and ancient ceiling timbers, the house contains a lovely (77 sq. Meter) rental apartment that comfortably accomodates 2-4 people. Accessed by a private entryway, the apartment was renovated 9 years ago but retains its historical characteristics. It contains a large, eat-in kitchen with a fireplace, a bedroom with a double bed, a living / bedroom with 2 single beds and a bath. Facing south, it is beautifully furnished with antique country furniture.
The foundation of the house was built in the 12th century. The building was enlarged in the 17th century and completed in 1658. Historically Morniano was a place that offered hospitality for pilgrims on their way to Rome. The Tuscany farmhouse Morniano is located in an extremely panoramic area bordering Chianti and is at the centre of an artistic triangle which includes the cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo and the A1 highway exit is just 7 km away. The nearest town is Figline, a lovely medieval town with its beautiful town square in the historical center.
The world famous Chianti region with places such as Greve, Gaiole and Castellina and its fine wines lies not far from our house.
The Valdarno,even if not so well known, is rich of medieval villages like Loro Ciuffenna and Castelfranco and romanic churches.
Vallombrosa and the park of the Casentinese Forest has to be mentioned for their amazing chestnut, beech and pine forests, an ideal place for trecking in the Apennines.
A holiday in Morniano means a direct contact with nature and at the same time the possibility to reach easily the most important artistic and historical sites of Tuscany.
For the ones that love shopping: Morniano is just 5 km away from the outlets of Gucci, Fendi, Armani, Prada, Dolce e Gabbana!!!
| | L'agriturismo Morniano è situato tra terrazzamenti di olivi e boschi di castagno nel cuore della Toscana, ad un'altitudine di 400 m.s.l.m. da dove potrete godere di una incomparabile vista sull'intero Valdarno e sul Pratomagno. Il Pratomagno è una delle cime dell'Appennino toscano che raggiunge i 1800 metri. La casa è una storica dimora di campagna totalmente in pietra, situata a 20 km a Sud di Firenze (uscita autostrada Incisa). Nella ala a sud della casa, è stato ricavato un confortevole appartamento di 77 mq per 2-4 persone, ristrutturato cercando di mantenere intatte le sue caratteristiche storiche. E' composto al pianterreno da una grande cucina con camino, mentre al primo piano da una camera da letto matrimoniale, un bagno con doccia ed un salone con divani e 2 posti letto.
L'origine della casa risale al XII secolo e la struttura ha subito ulteriori modifiche nel XVII secolo per essere completata nel 1658. Storicamente Morniano fu un luogo che offriva ristoro ed ospitalità ai pellegrini diretti a Roma. Morniano si trova in posizione estremamente panoramica ai confini con il Chianti ed al centro del triangolo dell'arte formato dalle citta' di Firenze, Siena ed Arezzo ed è facilmente raggiungibile grazie alla vicina autostrada (A1). La località più prossima è Figline con la sua bellissima piazza, il centro storico e le mura medioevali.
Poco lontano da casa comincia la celebre zona del Chianti famosa per i suoi vini e per i suoi paesi : Greve, Gaiole e Castellina.
Ma il Valdarno superiore, anche se meno conosciuto, è ricco di caratteristici borghi medioevali, come Loro Ciuffenna e Castelfranco che insieme alle splendide pievi romaniche disseminate su tutto il territorio lo rendono ricco di storia e cultura.
La catena del Pratomagno rappresenta una delle zone più interessanti dal punto di vista naturalistico con le sue splendide foreste, come la famosa Vallombrosa ed il Parco delle foreste casentinesi.
Un soggiorno a Morniano e' ideale per chi voglia trascorrere una vacanza in completo relax a contatto con la natura, ma con la possibilita' di poter facilmente raggiungere i luoghi artistici e storici piu' importanti della Toscana.
Morniano è un ottimo punto di partenza per escursioni a piedi . A circa 5 Km di distanza si trovano gli outlets di Gucci, Fendi, Armani, Prada e Dolce e Gabbana.

Managed by Novello family, the PRAETTO's restaurant provides typical Venetian dishes. Foods come directly by the nearby farm, which works in great respect of environment and local culture.
Rooms are enriched with typical furniture, but also equipped with modern comforts: shower, hair-dryer, TV-color, conditioned air.
Furniture is particulary selected in order to let the guests feel at their own home and live a quiet stay, as normal for the Venetian country inhabitants.
The restaurant, generally open during the weekend, provides dishes coming directly from farm produce: sausages, salamis, vegetables, home-made pasta, white and red wine.
Meat, almost poultry and swine, comes directly from our own breeding.
Menus are arranged following Venetian cooking tradition.

L'agriturismo è ben servito dai servizi di trasporto pubblico (Treno e Bus) che collegano le vicine località di interesse turistico.
Possibilità di trasfer da e per le stazioni e l'aereoporto. Dotato di un ampio parcheggio riservato per la clientela, l'agriturismo ha pure uno spazioso prato verde con giochi all'aperto per i bambini. Le camere sono arredate secondo lo stile tipico del luogo, ma dotate di moderni comfort come servizi, piano doccia, asciugacapelli, TV color, aria condizionata. Gli arredi sono stati accuratamente selezionati dai proprietari per far sentire i propri ospiti a casa loro e poter godere di un soggiorno tranquillo, caratteristica tipica del paesaggio della campagna veneta.
La cucina, serve principalmente cibi di produzione diretta dell'annessa azienda agricola: insaccati, salami, verdure, pasta fatta in casa, così come per il vino da pasto, bianco o rosso.
Anche la carne, principalmente pollame o suini, proviene dal proprio allevamento.
Per la composizione dei menù ci si rifà all'attuale tradizione della cucina veneta.La ristorazione è aperta generalmente durante i week-end e su prenotazione. L'agriturismo Praetto, dispone di tre sale con capienza da 30 fino a 100 persone. Da non dimenticare, nelle giornate primaverili ed estive il giardino dove poter gustare le specialità respirando l'aria incontaminata della campagna.

We have newly restored the lodgings of the old estate to open in the Sieve Valley the Pezzatino Agritourism, which has been keeping the relationship with the history of the farm and the local eno-gastronomic tradition.
In order to carry on the contact with the surrounding nature, all the trimmings and the furniture have been realized using no-toxic and natural materials.
Under the plants of our garden is possible to relax reading or tasting our products or simply taking a nap.
Under restoring is an orchard-garden with a wide range of ancient apple trees, some of which are on the point of extinction and there is also a cool fountain, lying in the middle of our garden; both stand for the heart and symbolize the emblem of our agritourism.
To complete your stay in a comfortable way, you will find also a swimming pool and, lying on our solarium in stone you can benefit from the sun among the wooded hills in a landscape that captures the essence of Tuscany.
Our lodgings have been painstakingly restored according the architectural features of this area, using natural materials, which can allow a pleasant stay also to disabled person.

Recentemente abbiamo ristrutturato gli alloggi dell'antico podere, per aprire, nella meravigliosa Val di Sieve, l'Agriturismo Il Pezzatino, che continua a mantenere il contatto con la natura circostante (abbiamo utilizzato a tal fine materiali atossici e naturali per finiture e arredi), il legame con la storia del podere e la tradizione eno-gastronomica locale.
Sotto le piante del giardino è possibile rilassarsi, dedicandosi alla lettura, o assaggiando i prodotti da degustazione, o semplicemente schiacciando un pisolino...
E' in fase di ristrutturazione un giardino - frutteto, con varietà di meli antichi e in via d'estinzione, che rappresenta, insieme alla fresca fontana situata al centro del giardino, il cuore e l'emblema stesso dell'intero agriturismo.
A completare il vostro soggiorno ci sono anche una piscina e un solarium in pietra, per godere il sole tra le colline e i fitti alberi della zona.
